Sci-Tech Glassblowing - About Us

Sci-Tech Glassblowing, Inc. was established in 1972 for the main purpose of perfecting the design, fabrication and repair of custom borosilicate and quartz glassware.  Our products can be found in various applications in a wide range of industries including semiconductor manufacturing, medical and aerospace.  We also provide products to a multitude of non-scientific industries including equipment manufacturers, movie studios and advertisers.

A large part of Sci-Tech Glassblowing's success and longevity has been our use of highly skilled professional glassblowers, quality materials and proven equipment and techniques.  We are a solid part of the scientific glass blowing industry and specialize in creating high quality custom glass apparatus from our customer's unique concepts and designs. 

Sci-Tech Glassblowing is also a distributor of Corning, Inc. products and supplies Pyrex® and Vycor® glass tubing, rod and glassware to other glassblowers, businesses, artisans and hobbyist.  Upon request, Sci-Tech Glassblowing also provides quartz tubing and rod.  (Please visit our Products page for more details about the various glass items and supplies that we carry.)
